Officially there are 150 types of headaches, with more being discovered as time goes on. The most common approach to diagnosis and treatment of headaches is to evaluate the characteristics and, sometimes, the known causes of the symptoms. This approach yields some successes however many sufferers report incomplete relief or not at all.
Another approach is to look at the causation of the headaches. While the symptoms and patterns are often insightful, the fact of the matter is that almost anything can cause almost any kind of a headache. To use a very simple example for illustration let us consider one of the common types of headaches, the tension headache. It is easy to address the tension symptomatically, however, an important question is, “what is causing that tension?” Some of the possibilities would include mineral deficiencies or mineral transport issues. Others could be occupational postures, sleeping habits, TMJ, spinal and cranial misalignments, pH balance which affects mineral absorption and utilization of the body, and so on. Therefore, we ideally need to look deeper and treat the cause of the headaches.
With this understanding in mind, the following types are used as guidelines in an attempt to develop a clearer picture as to the cause of one of the most common pains experienced by people.
It should also be noted that the following descriptions of the pain patterns and therapeutic interventions are approximations. Many sufferers may experience significant and even total relief from the simple protocols as listed. Be aware that people are individuals and often require a precision approach to their health problems that can ultimately only be determined by diagnostic trials by the skilled and properly trained healthcare specialist.
A patient should seek IMMEDIATE medical care if their headache is:
- The “worst headache of your life.” This is the wording often used in textbooks as a cue for medical practitioners to consider the diagnosis of a subarachnoid hemorrhage due to a ruptured cerebral aneurysm. The amount of pain will often be taken in context with the appearance of the patient and other associated signs and symptoms. Too often, patients are prompted to use this expression by a health-care professional and do not routinely volunteer the phrase.
- Different than their usual headaches Starts suddenly or is aggravated by exertion, coughing, bending over, or sexual activity.
- Associated with persistent nausea and vomiting.
- Associated with fever or stiff neck. A stiff neck may be due to meningitis or blood from a ruptured aneurysm. However, most patients who complain of a stiff neck have muscle spasm and inflammation as the cause.
- Associated with seizures.
- Associated with recent head trauma or a fall.
- Associated with changes in vision, speech, or behavior.
- Associated with weakness or change in sensation on one side of their body that may be a sign of stroke. Not responding to treatment or is getting worse Requires more than the recommended dose of over-the-counter
Headache definition and facts
The head is one of the most common sites of pain in the body. A headache or head pain sometimes can be difficult to describe, but some common symptoms include throbbing, squeezing, constant, unrelenting or intermittent. The location may be in one part of the face or skull, or may be generalized involving the whole head. A headache may arise spontaneously or may be associated with activity or exercise. It may be acute onset or it may be chronic in nature with episodes of increasing severity.
A headache is often associated with nausea and vomiting. This is especially true with migraine headaches. Head pain can be classified as being one of three types: 1) primary headache, 2) secondary headache, and 3) cranial neuralgias, facial pain, and other headaches.
Common primary headaches include tension, migraine, and cluster headaches. Home remedies for tension headaches, the most common type of a primary headache, include rest and over-the-counter (OTC) medications for pain.
Secondary headaches are usually a symptom of an injury or an underlying illness. Sinus headaches are considered a secondary headache due to increased pressure or infection in the sinuses. Medication overuse headache (rebound headache) is a condition where frequent use of pain medications can lead to persistent head pain. The headache may improve for a short time after the medication is taken and then recur (“Rebound headache” has been replaced by the term medication overuse headache).
Individuals should seek medical care for new onset headaches or if headaches are associated with fever, stiff neck, weakness or change in sensation on one side of the body, change in vision, vomiting or change in behavior.
NUTRITIONAL DEFICIENCY TYPE
(May include the following types of headaches: migraine, tension, cluster, muscle contraction, exertion, chronic daily, toxic and others)
HEADACHE TYPE AND USUAL PATTERN:
Nutritional deficiencies can affect any and all organs, symptoms and systems in the body and may be a component of all headaches.
DIETARY AND LIFESTYLE SUGGESTIONS:
Whole foods should replace all processed foods. Proper exercise and sufficient purified water are essential.
SUGGESTED INTERVENTIONS:
Minimal nutritional supplementation should include: Catalyn (3-9), Organic Trace Minerals (6-9), Drenamin (6-12), Omega-3’s (3-9) or Cataplex F (3-9).

LOW BLOOD SUGAR TYPE
(May include the following types of headaches: migraine, tension, cluster, muscle contraction, exertion, hormonal, chronic daily, hunger and others)
HEADACHE TYPE AND USUAL PATTERN:
Headache is related to and occurs when a meal is skipped or delayed, allowing blood sugar level to drop. Hypoglycemia is often a major consideration. Stress accompanied by fatigue and craving for candy, soft drinks, or sweets is often noted. Hypoglycemic symptoms are influences by the feeding patterns of the prior 3-5 days.
DIETARY AND LIFESTYLE SUGGESTIONS:
Eliminate refined carbohydrates and simple sugars and starches (white flour, macaroni products). Snack regularly on whole food complex carbohydrates (not dried fruit as they are predominantly glucose). Include limited amounts of unsweetened fruit juice (grape has highest natural sugar content) along with a slower burning complex carbohydrate (whole grain products, nuts, and seeds are useful). Eat a sound breakfast with a slower burning carbohydrate such as oatmeal, millet, or whole grain pancakes (minimal natural sweetener, if any). In severe cases ingest some cooked whole grain cereal prior to bedtime to maintain blood glucose throughout the night and improve the quality of sleep.
SUGGESTED INTERVENTIONS:
Cataplex GTF (4-9)for GTF chromium, AF Betafood (6-12)for liver glycogen storage, Drenamin (6-12)adrenal energy support.

LIVER TOXICITY TYPE
(May include the following types of headaches: migraine, tension, allergy, sinus, muscle contraction, exertion, hormonal, chronic daily, hunger, rebound, toxic and others)
HEADACHE TYPE AND USUAL PATTERN:
A headache is accompanied by nausea and a “general sick feeling.” Often a bitter metallic taste in the mouth. General aches and minor pains throughout the body. Often sleeplessness and nightmares. Intolerance to oils and fats in the diet (a few nuts can cause distress). Individual often feels worried with muddled thoughts.
DIETARY AND LIFESTYLE SUGGESTIONS:
Eliminate all junk foods, fried foods, and refined carbohydrates especially soft drinks. Eliminate trans-fatty acids which include all oleo-type fats such as margarine, hydrogenated vegetable oils (avoid commercial salad dressing which is usually hydrogenated). Include fresh fruits and vegetables (organically grown whenever possible), organic brown rice regularly, unpreserved stone-ground whole grains, butter, cold-pressed extra-virgin olive oil, and sesame oil.
SUGGESTED INTERVENTIONS:
Livaplex (6-9)for detoxification, Cholacol II (3/3x’s)between meals, intestinal adsorbent, Choline (9)defatting of liver and fat breakdown, Chlorophyll Complex (4-9)for blood purifying.
AlphaBio Centrix Energy Patch Therapies: Cleanse, Liver, Pain & Inflammation patches.
FOOD ALLERGY & SENSITIVITY TYPE
(May include the following types of headaches: migraine, allergy, sinus, toxic, rebound and others)
HEADACHE TYPE AND USUAL PATTERN: Offending food substance reliably produces a headache. Often an ever-widening circle of foods is included to the sensitivity in such patients thus making simple avoidance a non-approach. Correcting a faulty digestive tract, particularly in handling proteins, is often the best approach. Foul smelling gas is a primary symptom in such cases. Non-foul smelling gas usually indicates carbohydrate digestion weakness. Constipation may also be a consideration.
DIETARY AND LIFESTYLE SUGGESTIONS:
(It should be ascertained whether organically grown versions of the same offending food(s) also causes a reaction. The patient may be reacting to a chemical(s) that is used frequently in that particular commercial food(s) i.e. fungicides on grapes, dyes in beef, nitrates and nitrites, MSG and hydrolyzed vegetable protein, pesticides, preservatives, etc.)
Obtain organically grown foods whenever possible. While correcting the sensitivity, avoid offending foods while eating a whole foods diet of tolerant foods.
SUGGESTED INTERVENTIONS:
Zypan (6-9)for protein digestion and pH, Lactic Acid Yeast (6-9)for carbohydrate digestion, Lact-Enz (3-6)intestinal flora and digestive enzymes, Antronex (3-9)anti-histamine.
AlphaBio Centrix Energy Patch Therapies:Enviro3, Digestion, Healing XL, Migraine, Pain and Inflammation, AO-X.
ENVIRONMENTAL ALLERGY & SENSITIVITY TYPE
(May include the following types of headaches: migraine, allergy, sinus, rebound, toxic and others)
HEADACHE TYPE AND USUAL PATTERN: A headache can be traced to contact with man-made chemicals in the environment. This can range from agricultural chemicals such as pesticides, herbicides, fertilizers, bug spray, to “new house syndrome” items such as off-gassing from glues in particle board, carpets, synthetic fabrics and stain-proof coatings, paints and thinners, etc. The liver, lymphatic system, circulatory system, and nervous systems may be over-burdened from these toxins thus producing headaches.
DIETARY AND LIFESTYLE SUGGESTIONS:
Use of indoor negative ion generator, electro-static air filter, increased air ventilation and circulation, and humidity control is all methods to enhance neutralizing a toxin-producing environment. Using natural fibers and whole-wood products should be suggested. Only natural household cleaning products should be used.
SUGGESTED INTERVENTIONS:
Antronex (3-9)anti-histamine, Allerplex (6-12), Phosfood Liquid (40 drops, 1-3X daily).
AlphaBio Centrix Energy Patch Therapies:Environ3, Healing XL, Migraine, Pain and Inflammation, Detox, AO-X.
DEPRESSION TYPE
(May include the following types of headaches: tension, hormonal, chronic daily, depression and others)
HEADACHE TYPE AND USUAL PATTERN:
Mental and emotional lethargy with a predominant “sense of hopelessness”. Lack of drive or initiative is typical. The patient may be on or used psycho active prescriptions such as Prozac, Valium, or Lithium. The body is lacking a general tone, reflecting the mental state.
DIETARY AND LIFESTYLE SUGGESTIONS:
Exercise (sports or programmed) has often been noted by therapists to be a catalyst in accelerating gland function. Often a patient would rather be “a bump on the log” than being involved in an activity. These patients should be offered counsel about embarking on an exercise regimen. Whole fresh “living” foods such as fresh fruits and vegetables high in enzymes, vitamins, and minerals should be stressed. “Dead” foods should be avoided, especially since these are usually the “foods” that depressed patients orient to.
SUGGESTED INTERVENTIONS:
Catalyn (6-9)whole food multi-supplement, Chlorophyll Complex Perles (6-12)blood building properties, Niacinamide B6 (3-6)brain and circulation, Paraplex (6-9)endocrine system support. Adrenal evaluation and Methyl Folate metabolism should be explored (MTHFR genetic variants).
AlphaBio Centrix Energy Patch Therapies: Relax, Stress Freeze (for PTSD), Migraine, Pain and Inflammation, Female or Male Hormone, KTAB.
CHIROPRACTIC TYPE
(May include the following types of headaches: migraine, tension, cluster, muscle contraction, posttraumatic, arthritic, sinus, trigeminal neuralgia, allergic, exertion, chronic daily and others)
HEADACHE TYPE AND USUAL PATTERN:
A subluxation of the vertebral column impinging upon a nerve dependably relieved by spinal manipulation. Relief may be prompt, but recurrence may persist due to laxity of ligaments holding vertebrae in proper alignment. Atonicity of surrounding muscles may contribute to the inability of ligaments to maintain alignment. Expert chiropractic manipulation is indicated.
DIETARY AND LIFESTYLE SUGGESTIONS:
Trace mineral soil depletion of commercial food supply coupled with a lack of collagen forming vitamin C complex and muscle toning vitamin E complex weaken connective tissue. Organically grown fruits and vegetables grown on fertile soil is likely to be high in vitamin C and E complexes and trace minerals.
SUGGESTED INTERVENTIONS:
Proper chiropractic analysis and treatment.
Ligaplex I (6-9), Trace Minerals B12 (3-9), Cal Amo (2-9).
AlphaBio Centrix Energy Patch Therapies: Ultra Joint, Pain and Inflammation, Migraine.
PITUITARY TYPE
(May include the following types of headaches: migraine, posttraumatic, hormonal, menstrual and others)
HEADACHE TYPE AND USUAL PATTERN:
Recurring random headache with no distinct pattern. It is marked by the very lack of an identifiable sequence. Often a very painful headache and occurs at different times of day or night. After ruling out other types of headaches, pituitary dysfunction should be considered.
DIETARY AND LIFESTYLE SUGGESTIONS:
Avoid sugar, alcohol, and stimulants in general. Include fresh fruits and vegetables.
SUGGESTED INTERVENTIONS:
Pituitrophin PMG (4-6), Cataplex E (3-6), Trace Minerals B12 (4-9), E-Manganese (3-9).
AlphaBio Centrix Energy Patch Therapies: Adult Mental Focus, Children’s Focus, Migraine, Male or Female Hormone, Pain and Inflammation.
OVARIAN TYPE
(May include the following types of headaches: migraine, tension, hormonal, menstrual and others)
HEADACHE TYPE AND USUAL PATTERN:
Tends to occur during ovulation and/or menstruation. Often accompanied by “hair trigger” mood swings and emotional instability. Occasionally, temporary out-breaks of acne occur during menstruation.
DIETARY AND LIFESTYLE SUGGESTIONS:
Avoid sugar, alcohol, and refined carbohydrates. Include organically grown brown rice and vegetables and light proteins such as fish. Evaluate for soy protein sensitivity.
SUGGESTED INTERVENTIONS:
Ovex (6-12)for 4 days preceding anticipated headache, Organic Iodine Tablets (1-2)– 1 per day during a month and 2 per day for two days before anticipated headache, Ferrofood (1-6/day) all month. AlphaBio Centrix Energy Patch Therapies: Female Hormone, Relax, Migraine, Pain and Inflammation.
THYROID TYPE
(May include the following types of headaches: migraine, hormonal, chronic daily and others)
HEADACHE TYPE AND USUAL PATTERN:
A headache is present (often dull) upon rising in the morning and wears off as the day goes on (usually by mid-to-late morning). This suggests that the thyroid fails to respond from a resting state to wakefulness but eventually picks up metabolism as person sustains activity.
DIETARY AND LIFESTYLE SUGGESTIONS:
Avoid heavy meals particularly in the evening. Include salt-water fish and kelp seasonings (sea weed condiments).
SUGGESTED INTERVENTIONS:
Organic Iodine Tablets (1/day), Iodine saturation therapy, Thytrophin PMG (6-9/day), Cataplex F (4/day).

FATIGUE TYPE (ADRENAL INSUFFICIENCY TYPE)
(May include the following types of headaches: tension, muscle contraction, allergic, hormonal, chronic daily, hunger, and others)
HEADACHE TYPE AND USUAL PATTERN: A headache begins in late afternoon and stamina begins to decrease. Loss of concentration, general lassitude, sometimes accompanies by low blood pressure.
DIETARY AND LIFESTYLE SUGGESTIONS:
Snack frequently on fresh fruits. Avoid soft drinks and heavy meals in the middle of the day.
SUGGESTED INTERVENTIONS:
Drenamin (6-12/day), Vasculin (3-6/day), Organic Iodine Tablets (1/day).
AlphaBio Centrix Energy Patch Therapies: KTAB, Energy Balance, Relax, Migraine, Pain and Inflammation.
CAPILLARY FRAGILITY TYPE
(May include the following types of headaches: migraine, cluster, posttraumatic, rebound and others)
HEADACHE TYPE AND USUAL PATTERN:
One of the only headaches painful enough to wake a person out of a sound sleep. A crushing type headache marked by capillary fragility in which blood leaking from minute blood vessels may mix with cerebrospinal fluid. A deficiency of rutin factors (vitamin P complex) of the vitamin C complex is probable cause for blood vessel weakness, although medications can inhibit vitamin C complex activity. Look for confirming signs of capillary fragility throughout the body, i.e. chronic bruising, puffy bleeding gums or gingivitis, cuts heal slowly, GI Tract ulcers.
DIETARY AND LIFESTYLE SUGGESTIONS:
Eliminate while sugar and refined ad overcooked foods, canned or frozen fruits and vegetables. Include fresh raw fruit and certain raw vegetables such as red bell peppers and raw potato. Fruit and vegetables can be juiced for greater concentration (organically grown to avoid concentration of pesticides).
SUGGESTED INTERVENTIONS:
Cyruta-Plus (6-12/day) taken with meals, Cataplex C (3-9/day), Phosfood Liquid (60-90 drops/day)in water juice in three equal daily doses.
AlphaBio Centrix Energy Patch Therapies: Circulation, Migraine, Pain and Inflammation.
SUNLIGHT EXPOSURE TYPE
(May include the following types of headaches: tension, muscle contraction, and others)
HEADACHE TYPE AND USUAL PATTERN:
A headache occurs after sustained exposure to sunlight, often at the end of a day outdoors. This type is actually a form of hypervitaminosis D (excess vitamin D) caused by UV sunlight resulting in excess calcium in the blood and tissue calcium starvation. A deficiency of vitamin F –a natural vitamin D antagonist responsible for unloading calcium from the blood and keeping it in the tissue– allows vitamin D to elevate blood calcium levels well above normal. Blood becomes very thick with calcium molecules. Muscle cramps and aches are often attendant as a result of tissue depletion of calcium. Canker sores and fever blisters (herpes simplex) can be caused by the same excessive sun exposure and hypervitaminosis D.
DIETARY AND LIFESTYLE SUGGESTIONS:
Eliminate vitamin D supplements and vitamin D fortified foods (such as milk products). Include fresh cold-pressed oils such as olive oil. Sunscreens are somewhat effective but not entirely.
SUGGESTED INTERVENTIONS:
Cataplex F (9-12/day), and 4-6 tablets preventively in morning before sun exposure.
AlphaBio Centrix Energy Patch Therapies: Healing XL, Migraine, Pain and Inflammation.
Cranial Type
(May include the following types of headaches: migraine, tension, cluster, muscle contraction, exertion, hormonal, chronic daily, trigeminal neuralgia, hormonal, rebound, posttraumatic, sinus, tic douloureoux and others)
HEADACHE TYPE AND USUAL PATTERN:
Cranial distortions may affect any part of the brain and result in any type of headaches. Cranial subluxations increase cerebrospinal fluid (CSF) pressures inside the head and therefore can produce a wide array of symptoms. These subluxations may be involved in virtually any type of headache especially if the patient is not responding to other types of treatments and therapies. Sometimes these headaches will be worse in the morning when intracranial cerebral spinal fluid pressure is naturally at its peak.
DIETARY AND LIFESTYLE SUGGESTIONS:
effective treatment of this type headache requires the expertise of a SORSI trained Sacro Occipital Technic™ (SOT®) chiropractic physician. Nutritional and lifestyle recommendations must be geared to the specific situation and are best determined on an individual basis.
SUGGESTED INTERVENTIONS:
The SOT® Methods of Chiropractic Craniopathy embraces hundreds of specific techniques and protocols. This can only be properly determined by the skilled chiropractic physician trained in these procedures.
Trace Minerals (3-6), Cal Amo (2-6), Calcium Lactate (5-15), Magnesium Lactate (2-9)
AlphaBio Centrix Energy Patch Therapies: Children’s Focus, Adult Mental Focus, Migraine, Pain and Inflammation.
TMJ (Temporal Mandibular Joint) Type
(May include the following types of headaches: tension, posttraumatic, chronic daily, arthritic, tic douloureux, trigeminal neuralgia and others)
HEADACHE TYPE AND USUAL PATTERN:
The TMJ type of headache can be elusive. This is because of the complicated neurology involved in the temporomandibular joint. The typical headaches may include jaw or side of head pains (temporal region) and may extend into the forehead or frontal bone. There may or may not be pains, clicking, popping and other jaw-related symptoms. Headaches related to the TMJ can literally be anywhere in the head.
DIETARY AND LIFESTYLE SUGGESTIONS:
This type of a headache may not respond to any specific dietary and lifestyle changes. At times, anti-inflammatory measures may help alleviate some of the symptoms. This measure does not address the cause but may help reduce the pain, especially as applied at the TMJ.
SUGGESTED INTERVENTIONS:
Because of the complicated nature of this type of a dysfunction, a SORSI certified SOT® (Sacro Occipital Technic™) doctor of chiropractic may need to be consulted. Successful treatment is determined on a case-by-case basis and may also require coordinated efforts with a dentist familiar with temporomandibular dysfunction (TMD}.
Trace Minerals (3-6), Cal Amo (2-6), Calcium Lactate (5-15), Magnesium Lactate (2-9)
AlphaBio Centrix Energy Patch Therapies: Migraine, Pain and Inflammation
Occipital Fiber Type
(May include the following types of headaches: migraine, tension, cluster, muscle contraction, exertion, hormonal, chronic daily, hunger, posttraumatic, trigeminal neuralgia, rebound, toxic, arthritic, sinus, and others)
HEADACHE TYPE AND USUAL PATTERN:
Occipital fibers are reflexes that originate throughout the entire spine in humans. A headache of this type may originate from a distortion or subluxation anywhere in the whole vertebral column. A headache may or may not be accompanied by persistent pains at the base of the skull or even specific tender spots in that region. Sometimes the headache feels as if it originates at the back of the skull. This type of dysfunction often has a correlation with a specific organ issue and therefore may be associated with other symptoms or conditions such as indigestion, constipation etc.
DIETARY AND LIFESTYLE SUGGESTIONS:
Because of the unique individuality of this type of headache, specific recommendations must be made on a case-by-case basis by a SOT® chiropractic physician trained in occipital fiber diagnostics and therapeutics.
SUGGESTED INTERVENTIONS:
Occipital fiber neutralization procedures and Chiropractic Manipulative Reflex Technique (CMRT) need be provided by a SORSI certified SOT® chiropractic physician.
Specific nutritional healing as indicated by occipital fiber diagnosis.
AlphaBio Centrix Energy Patch Therapies: Migraine, Pain and Inflammation, other patches as dictated by occipital fiber diagnosis.
Mineral Transport Type
(May include the following types of headaches: migraine, tension, cluster, muscle contraction, exertion, chronic daily, trigeminal neuralgia, hormonal, allergy, arthritic, sinus, rebound, and others)
HEADACHE TYPE AND USUAL PATTERN:
This represents the typical muscle tension type headache. The pains are produced because of the inability of muscles to relax properly due to an imbalance of critical minerals. All muscles of the body are under the direct control of the nerves. Nerve tissue requires certain minerals to be present to relax properly if this relaxation cannot occur, muscle tension and pain results. The person suffering from these headaches commonly experiences excess muscle tension, leg cramps especially at night, muscle twitches or restless leg syndrome and pains that do not respond to other therapies. Episodes may begin while at rest or during activity.
DIETARY AND LIFESTYLE SUGGESTIONS:
Mineral rich foods especially green leafy vegetables are encouraged. Processed foods of all types should be avoided.
SUGGESTED INTERVENTIONS:
Mineral deficiencies can be the result of an acid deficiency of the digestive system, difficulties in mineral metabolism such as found in adrenal dysfunction, dietary deficiencies as well as other factors. Supplementation possibilities include: Cal Amo (3-9), Organically Bound Minerals (6-12), Calcium Lactate (5-15), Magnesium Lactate (2-6), Digestive Enzymes (Zypan 2-3 per meal), pituitary or adrenal protocols and others.
AlphaBio Centrix Energy Patch Therapies: Relax, Migraine, Pain and Inflammation, Digestion, Sleep.
Electromagnetic Frequency (EMF) Sensitivity Type
(May include the following types of headaches: migraine, tension, cluster, muscle contraction, exertion, chronic daily, rebound, toxic and others)
HEADACHE TYPE AND USUAL PATTERN:
Identification of these headaches can be extremely elusive. Often no other therapies are completely effective. Some individuals may experience the onset of headaches when in the range of EMF offenders like microwaves or Wi-Fi transmitters. The pains can be any location and can exhibit any headache characteristics.
DIETARY AND LIFESTYLE SUGGESTIONS:
The mainstream strategy is an attempt to avoid EMF radiations. Most experts believe that the body produces and emits its own electromagnetic vibrations that can repel the negative effects of those found in the environment. Strategies should then be aimed at increasing the overall well-being and vitality of the individual, ultimately being unaffected by the EMF radiations. Avoiding processed foods and incorporating organic foods whenever possible will assist. Clinical detoxification programs are often beneficial if not essential.
SUGGESTED INTERVENTIONS:
Any interventions that raise the vitality of the individual are likely to help the healing process. Specific recommendations should be made on an individual basis. These can be very tricky situations to treat effectively. Catalyn (3-9), SP Cleanse (3-9 or full detoxification program), Organic Trace Minerals (6-9), Drenamin (6-12), Omega-3’s (3-9) or Cataplex F (3-9).
AlphaBio Centrix Energy Patch Therapies: EMF Defender, Healing XL, Well-Being, Migraine, Pain and Inflammation.
Fibromyalgia Type
(May include the following types of headaches: migraine, tension, cluster, muscle contraction, exertion, chronic daily, toxic and others)
HEADACHE TYPE AND USUAL PATTERN:
The fibromyalgia patient often experiences sensitivity to temperature drops, loud noises, and bright lights. Symptoms may also include trouble remembering and concentrating, also called fibro fog, headaches, including migraines that cause nausea and vomiting, restless legs syndrome, a creepy, crawly feeling in the legs that wakes you from sleep.
DIETARY AND LIFESTYLE SUGGESTIONS:
Fibromyalgia treatment can be very complicated, requiring individual assessment. All processed foods should be eliminated and a basic supplementation program provided. Detoxification measures may be required and food allergies and/or sensitivities may be involved.
SUGGESTED INTERVENTIONS:
In addition to individual evaluation, Category II and Category III treatment protocols including indicated Chiropractic Craniopathy as described in the SOT® Methods of Chiropractic often provide great relief. Minimal nutritional supplementation should include: Catalyn (3-9), Organic Trace Minerals (6-9), Drenamin (6-12), Omega-3’s (3-9) or Cataplex F (3-9).
AlphaBio Centrix Energy Patch Therapies: Fibromyalgia, Relax, Migraine, Pain and Inflammation, Ultra Joint, Healing XL, Sleep, AO-X. Stress Freeze or Emotional Rescue is often required in severe or long-standing cases.
